2012 Albuquerque Nissan 370Z: New for 2012 is the addition of an oil cooler as standard equipment. But there’s nothing wrong with maintaining the status quo on the Z. Powered by a 332-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 engine, the 2012 Albuquerque Nissan 370Z is available with either six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed automatic transmission. An optional synchronized downshift, rev-matching system automatically controls and adjusts engine speed to the exact speed of the next gear. Adding to the 2012 Albuquerque Nissan 370Z’s performance are a 95-pound decrease in overall weight and a shorter, carbon-fiber composite driveshaft. Those who opt for an automatic transmission get a seven-speed unit with Downshift Rev Matching and Adaptive Shift Control, which offers quick shifts in manual mode with a target time of 0.5 seconds. The 370Z’s suspension is lighter and stronger than the 350’s, while adding more camber adjustment. Double-wishbones replace the multi-link setup of the 350Z and are lighter, forged aluminum arms and cradle, along with a stiffer anti-sway bar. In the back, the four-link rear suspension is also stiffer and lighter and the rear cradle is now a single piece.
